Thanks to David Statum, Director of Family Food Ministry, Official Nazarene Compassionate Ministry Center, at Tullahoma Westside Church, for providing and transporting to NMI Convention at Lee University…150 great gift bags for Pastors & NMI Presidents.
When David learned “Knit Together in Love,” would be Assembly theme, he immediately thought of a woman at his church who knits lovely hats & scarves
to give away to needy persons in the winter time; she donated 150 of the hand knit hats & scarves for the gift bags.
Then, gift bags were filled with goodies, including packages of country ham, from food ministry!
We loved that our President Emeritus, Betty Patton, prayed for us throughout the NMI Convention/ District Assembly,
and we loved delivering her Assembly Goody Bag during the days following assembly!
The 2022 NMI Local President’s Report gave each church this invitation:
“Please share how your church ministered cross-culturally (locally or internationally).
While this is not a requirement, we would love to hear your stories and share them with our district.”
