TWO VACATION BIBLE SCHOOLS – A WORLD APART
BOTH MAKE A LASTING DIFFERENCE IN THEIR WORLD!
Kids at Chapman’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene raised $1,164.34 in their VBS offering for Food Ministry Truck
Kids at Chapman’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene raised $1,164.34 in their VBS offering for much needed repair (estimated cost = $25,000)  on one of the two 25 ft. box trucks at our district’s Nazarene Compassionate Ministry, FAMILY FOOD MINISTRY, housed in Tullahoma Westside Church of the Nazarene. Both trucks have been on the road at least 6 days a week collecting & transporting food…so having one truck not working is a real problem for the ministry.
Besides providing food  for over 1,500 persons weekly, the food ministry does “specials,” like providing food to disaster areas, providing food for the Kids Mission Jamboree at Children’s Camp,Pastors’ & NMI Presidents’ gift bags at assembly.  So far, the ministry has raised $12,157 toward the truck repair, a 10% giving opportunity.  To donate, send check, made out to Family Food Ministy,  to Shirley Statum, 696 Sarvis Branch Road, Estill Springs, TN 37330.

Vacation Bible School for Children in the
Zakarpatska Area of Ukraine

Miklós and Vivien, a young couple from Hungarian District, led a three-week Vacation Bible School for children in the Zakarpatska area of Ukraine, close to the Hungarian border.

In the first two weeks, they welcomed around 40 children and shared about the miracles of Jesus. They also served hot meals each day – which is a help to families in these challenging days of sourcing enough food. The activities also helped the children enjoy time in community and offer hope and light in their current circumstances. Please pray for the Miklós, Vivien and the families who were impacted by this Camp.
