Thanks You, East Tennessee Nazarenes, from the Fraziers
I received a cool thank you note, with an African giraffe on the front, in the mail today.
Then note was from Russell and Carla Frazier.
E TN Nazarenes make such notes possible!
To those of you who hosted the Fraziers in your church, those who attended one of the deputation services,
those who prayed for the services, and to those who gave in wonderful offerings that totaled $8,977 for the week, THANK YOU!

GREAT MISSIONARY BOOKS!
Many of our churches have been asking for missionary reading books…well, here they come!
These two books are not available through traditional missionary books outlets…
“Overcoming: Life Lessons from My Missionary Journey” by Wellington Obotte, the first native African missionary to African nations. Many E Tennesseans will fondly remember Wellington and Hellen Obotte’s two week tour of our district, delighting and challenging us! Twenty copies of this book will be available for $20 donation for each book, at the NMI Registration Area at District Assembly….Thanks to Martha Bean, former district NMI President of Indianapolis district, now a member of Lebanon First Church of the Nazarene, for all the years that you served as arranger of deputation for the Obottes, and thank you for arranging to make the books available to us at E TN District NMI Convention!
“Notes from a Mozambique Prison” Former missionary Hugh Friberg, who was imprisoned in Mozambique along with Armand Doll, has finally written that story. The book,” Notes from a Mozambique Prison,” was recently released and is available for purchase in print or Kindle format on Amazon.com. Many years ago, “The Toothpaste Express,” about this imprisonment, was one of our NMI (NWMS) reading books about this shared experience.
