WORK & WITNESS PRAISE AND NEWS

An accident, while visiting our son in November led to a break where my leg joins my hip…leading to surgery.  Deeply grateful for God’s healing so far, I can’t help but be disappointed that I won’t be leaving with the W&W team going to Tapachula, Mexico on January 31.

That team will minister at the campground where our last two “Valentines for Jesus” projects have provided a bath house and a dormitory.  They will be accompanied by Shelley Webb, former E TN District Links missionary, as guide, facilitator and translator.  The team will do physical labor on the campground, minister in VBS in several churches and worship with the people, with preaching provided by our own E TN Pastor, Edwin Rivera!  Pastor Rivera will be the first pastor from one of our E TN Hispanic churches to serve on a district W&W team!

W&W TRIP TO AFRICA NAZARENE UNIVERSTIY
Team will deliver & install  21st Century Classroom equipment funded by the $20,103 raised through “Valentines for Jesus” in 2019.  Covid has put this trip off two different times…. ANYONE  INTERESTED MUST SEND APPLICATION AVAILABLE ON NEXT WEEK’S NEWSLETTER

FROM CHAPMAN’S CHAPEL, based on Christmas Lesson from SENT Missionaries, the Hauns  (featured in Dec. Newsletter)

We had a great time again this month in missions! The adult lesson was based around Bulgaria in which we very much enjoyed hearing from our very own LINKS missionary family the Hauns 🥰 The lesson video from Joshua was very much appreciated & the additional video from Katie & the kids was a joy to share ❤️.. I made the Bulgarian Christmas bread Koledna Pitka & placed edible silver candies into each batch🥰 pastor Brian & his daughter McKynze chose the winning pieces😉”
