THANK GOD, AND E TN NMI LEADERS, FOR A RECORD BREAKING NMI CONVENTION

We received two offerings at 2022 NMI Convention, and broke records for each of them!  Offering for Convention speakers, Rob & Cindy North ($4,065) – Offering for  “E TN Sent” Links missionaries, Joshua & Katie Haun ($6,276)

E TN also set an amazing RECORD  for ALABASTER  – 100% PARTICIPATION BY our  CHURCHES!!!

A Beautiful Tradition Continues….Kieruka Martin blessed us with “My Alabaster Box”  at our

100% ALABASTER PARTICIPATION CELEBRATION

Crisis Care Kits:  based on your  response to inquiry re: number of Crisis Care Kits being brought to district convention (since nearly 300 boxes were collected for refugees from war in Ukraine in April) we only brought one trailer, which could hold 125 boxes,  to the convention.   E TN Churches brought 125 boxes!

Flags:…BIG Thank you to everyone who helped with Flags!

When Scott & Debbie Blair couldn’t come to NMI convention, due to illness, they already had the flags loaded….then, Pastor Sam Woods came to the rescue…brought the flags and had them put up by the time I could learn that he had even arrived!  Thank you, Scott & Debbie for loading, and thank you, Pastor Sam Woods for transporting, unloading, and re-loading / transporting the flags “back home.”
Thanks to EVERYONE who helped with our flags!

More NMI HEROES:  HIMESVILLE CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE
When NMI presidents and pastors come to NMI convention, knowing they’ve done all needed to be done to make their church a “MISSION PRIORITY CHURCH”  they expect their church’s name to be on the list of Mission Priority One churches in the assembly booklet.   Our Himesville Church was one of those churches that did all that  made them a Mission Priority One Church (Prayed for Missions, taught about missions, engaged children & youth, and gave at least 5.5% of their income for World Evangelism).  Not only that, but  the Himesville Church gave 5.8% of their income for World Evangelism, making them a World Evangelism Church of Excellencebut I inadvertently omitted their church’s name from those lists in the Assembly Booklet. I was heartsick, but  Pastors Joshua and Katie Crowe & NMI President Alex Clemons were SO gracious, assuring me that they supported, prayed & gave, not for an award, but to serve.  However, I want to set the record straight, and give this deserving church the credit they so deserve.
Thanks be to God for all our wonderful churches!
